The month of Mercy and Repentance: The Muslim is subjected to the mercy of Allah in Ramadan, and receives forgiveness and repentance by fasting Ramadan. Whoever fasts Ramadan with faith , Allah forgives him for all his sins.  

In the month of Ramadan  the doors of Janna  and the door of al-Rayyan are opened to the fasting person, and the doors of fire are closed and the devils are submerged on the seabed. Muslims must compete in doing good in Ramadan because Allah doubles the reward for Muslims in the month of Ramadan.Allah accepts  the prayer of the fasting person.

Allah increases the reward of good deeds in Ramadan. The performance of ‘umrah in Ramadan is equivalent to the reward of  al Hajj with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

In the month of Ramadan, the night of blessing which is the greatest night of the year, namely, Laylat al Kadr, the night in which  the Great Qur’an was revealed . This night, Surah Al-Qadr described it as better than a thousand months. The livelihoods and deadlines are estimated in this night, and the angels descend with mercy and blessing on the earth, and scientists differed in determining whether it was the twenty-seventh night of Ramadan, or in the individual days of the last ten days of this blessed month. 

The Taraweeh prayer, is a definite Sunnah for women and men in Ramadan, the age of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), which is a great ritual of Ramadaan. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) did not specify  the number of rak’ahs, can be performed two rak’ahs or more,  the time of Taraweeh prayer after Al Isha` prayer and till before al Fajr.
