Eid ul-Fitr

 Eid ul-Fitr is the first Eid celebrated by Muslims before the celebration of Eid ul-Adha. It comes after the month of Ramadan on the first day of Shawwal. It is called Eid ul-Fitr because it comes as the first day after a whole month of fasting and worship. So it is also forbidden for Muslims to fast in it.  It is not permissible to pay zakaat al-fitr  after  Eid al-Fitr prayer.

Takbeerat Eid al-Fitr are sunah to be said by all Muslims and in every place and every time from the sunset of the night of the Eid, until the Eid prayer.

 Muslims ,in that day, take shower as well as wear clean and desirable clothing and put perfume. Muslims have to have breakfast before prayer, and that by eating dates.  Participation of everyone to pray Eid, and then exchange congratulations and blessings.

Eid al-Fitr celebrations for Muslims are purely human and social, where Muslims exchange congratulations and joy and pleasure,  visit their parents and all their relatives, they also visit neighbors and friends,  give the poor gifts and Zakat and they also eat “Eid cakes”, coffee, and various candies.

These days, Muslims are going to leisure trips in beautiful places, eating delicious food and sharing fun, they give the children money to enter the joy and pleasure in their hearts in addition to buying different games and exchanging gifts among them.
