After a reign of about two centuries.

The history of Sumerian civilization started with the Sumerian attack on the Kutians in the city of Warka led by Sumerian prince Otto Hikkal, who called himself Sumer king. He was able to gather the population around him by praising the people’s abilities to fight the tyrants. After the war, Sumerian rule moved to the city of Ur, where it formed a series known as Ur III, founded by King Ur Namu, which played a major role in the development of the Sumerian political life. Ancient Babylonian Civilization: Founded by King Hamorabi, who belongs to the Babylonian Dynasty I, in 1894-15955. Hamorabi began to expand in the north of the country towards the Fertile Crescent. Hammurabi was the first to enact the first integrated law in the world, combining civil law, sanctions and personal status. The ancient Babylonian civilization was known for its large cities, And its evolution in various sciences and human knowledge.

Babylonian Civilization Intermediate: Iraq was attacked at the end of this era by the Assyrians who have ruled Iraq for about five centuries, and this era  was considered one of dark ages in Iraq; they did not leave any documents ; in the middle of their era the Chechens  founded a new capital near the city of Baghdad .  The Assyrians  displaced  the Chechens in the country’s political leadership.

Modern Babylonian Civilization: This civilization is the last glorious era in ancient times (626-5399 BC), and Nebuchadnezzar II is considered to be one of the most famous kings of this historic era. In his reign, the state of Judea declared a civil disobedience at the instigation of the Pharaohs. Nebuchadnezzar embarked on a disciplinary campaign against Judah ,ended by the fall of the city of Jerusalem in 596 BC, and the participation of Judah in a new disobedience, led Nebuchadnezzar to destroy the city and burn the Temple,  the rule of Iraq after him was followed by a number of weak kings, which led to the deterioration of the situation of the country, and the fall of Babylon by Cyrus king of the Ecclesiastes, 539 BC.
