History of the Eiffel Tower

During World War I, a radio was placed in the German radio tower and radio communications, which played a major role in the Allied victory in the first Battle of the Marne.
The tower was used in the experimental transmission of low-resolution television broadcasting using a short-wave transmitter of up to 200 watts of power, in April 1935, and on November 17 it was installed to improve transmission.
Bright lights, high-power headlights are installed on the tower. Fireworks were launched to celebrate New Year’s Day on December 31, 1999.
