It is possible to happen a failure in the clock due to the old of the pieces in it and the insistence of officials to preserve it because of its heritage and historical significance, these old pieces can be replaced with modern pieces and operates at the same old mechanism.
It happened earlier when the clock stopped working completely, but maintenance workers repaired it, and it took about a week to repair it.
The maintenance workers are always ready for their constant concern for the work of the clock and repair any malfunction that may occur, because it is a symbol of the timing of the world, where the inhabitants used to know the time on their way and also the British Broadcasting Corporation depends on its time .
Big Ben is one of the most important attractions that attract tourists to this city, which is visited by large numbers of tourists from all over the world.
