Weather
Weather is the atmospheric condition that surrounds parts of the earth, and may be hot, cold, or moderate, accompanied by winds that may cause storms in some areas.
The first interested in the study of the weather was the philosopher Aristotle, when he studied the changes of weather, and then the Italian scientist Galileo invented a measure of the temperature of the atmosphere.
And with the scientific development; inventions began to appear in the follow-up to the weather, and to know the temperature of the Earth, determination of wind power, sea wave speed, climate impact, use of satellites to identify cloud movement, and rain amounts.
Weather elements
The weather consists of four basic elements:
Temperature: the amount of heat in the atmosphere, which ranges from altitude to low.
Air pressure: The weight of a column of air is equal to one bar.
Wind: is the movement of the air, determining the direction from which it blows.
Humidity: The amount of water vapor in the air.
The season changes in each of the four seasons of the year: spring, summer, autumn, and winter. Seasons are alternated by the axis of the Earth as it rotates around the sun.
The seasons vary according to the degree of sun approaching, When it is close, the weather becomes hot, and when it is far away it becomes cold, and the rest of the regions are temperate.
Thus, each part of the earth passes through each of the four seasons until the Earth completes its cycle and returning to the rotation again; the seasons change and the weather changes.
