The king Salman
King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud is the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the seventh king of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
He was born on the fifth day of Shawwal in 1354 AH / December 31st of 1935, and learned his early education at the Princes School in the city of Riyadh.
He concluded memorizing the Koran at the age of ten. He became the prince of Riyadh in 1954, and in 2011 he was appointed Minister of Defense after the death of his brother the Crown Prince Sultan.
In 2012, he was crown prince after the death of Crown Prince Nayef bin Abdul Aziz. King Salman received the throne of Saudi Arabia on the 3rd of Rabea the second of 1436, the twenty-third of January of the year 2015.
Works of King Salman
King Salman has carried out many actions, including launching military operations against the Houthis under the name of Al Hazm storm, and abolishing a number of councils and bodies such as: Supreme Council for Media.
And he integrate of the Ministry of Higher Education and the Ministry of Education in one ministry called the Ministry of Education.
He is the founder of the Supreme Council of Saudi Aramco, and appointed Crown Prince who is Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdul Aziz.

King Salman married five wives, and he had twelve male sons, and one daughter.

His wife Princess Sultana Bint Turki bin Ahmed Al-Sudairy, and she bore him: Prince Fahd, Prince Ahmed, Prince Sultan, Prince Faisal, Prince Abdul Aziz and Princess Hessa.
His wife, Princess Fahda bint Falah bin Sultan Al Hathlin Al Ajmi, and she bore him: Prince Muhammad, Crown Prince, Prince Khaled, Prince Turki, Prince Rakan, Prince Bandar and Prince Nayef.
His wife, Princess Sarah, daughter of Faisal bin Daidan, Abu ‘Uthnayn al-Subaie, and she bore him: Prince Saud.

Awards and medals of King Salman
King Salman received many honors and awards represented in: King Abdul Aziz’s first class scarf, the intellectual skill medal from the Kingdom of Morocco, which he received in 1989, the golden medal of Bosnia and Herzegovina received from Sarajevo, and the medal of the Jerusalem star, which he received in 1998 from the late President Yasser Arafat.
And the biggest medal he received from Senegal in 1999, as well as the United Nations Special Shield for Reducing the Effects of Poverty in the World, the Prize for the Disabled Children’s Association from Riyadh, the Kant Prize from Germany and he was awarded the Olympic Award for North Africa and the Middle East.
