The computer has become a part of our daily lives. Computers have been used in everything, even in complex surgeries. Computerization is a process of accumulation. Starting in 1835, Charles Pappag invented the calculator. the calculator was been developed until the human became in the computer age. Where Aiken invented a computer in 1944. This computer was based on an electrical and mechanical system and was not as electronic as it is now.This computer had limited functions and was the size of the room.
The computer was first developed between 1951 and 1957. it is called the Univac. it was carrying out limited operations and was also has problems of slow and large size and heavy weight and the consumption of a lot of electricity. The system was a vacuum valve, which is a glass tube that can deliver electricity without the need to use mechanical techniques.
The second generation of computer evolution came between 1959 and 1965. This computer replaced the technique of vacuum valves with transistor, which is the basis of modern electronic tools. The transistor allows the electrical current to pass from a certain direction and prevents it from passing from another direction. Then came the third generation that used the circuits made of silicon.Then the fourth generation emerged in the seventies using LSI circuits, thin slices,microprocessors and random memory. The computer was a desktop that we know today.
And finally the fifth generation of the computer, which was after 1985 and is characterized by speed and small size and was used in all fields.
