King Salman
King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud is the King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He was born on the fifth day of the month of Shawwal in 1354 AH / thirty-first of the month of December of 1935.
And learned his early education in the school of princes in the city of Riyadh, and concluded memorizing the holy Qoran at the age of ten.
He became the prince of Riyadh in 1954, then in 2011 was appointed Minister of Defense after the death of his brother Crown Prince Sultan.
In 2012 he was crown prince after the death of Crown Prince Nayef bin Abdul Aziz. King Salman received the throne of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the third of the month of Rabee II for the year 1436H, the twenty-third of the month of January of the year 2015.

King Salman has done many things including:
Launched military operations against the Houthis under the name of Al-Hazm storm , and abolished a number of councils and bodies such as: the Supreme Council of Information, and the integration of the Ministry of Higher Education and the Ministry of Education in one ministry called the Ministry of Education.
He founded the Supreme Council of Saudi Aramco and appointed Crown Prince; Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdul Aziz.

King Salman married five wives, and he has twelve sons, and one daughter, namely:
His wife priencess Sultana bint Turki bin Ahmed Al-Sudairy, and she bore : Prince Fahd, Prince Ahmed, Prince Sultan, Prince Faisal, Prince Abdul Aziz and Princess Hessa.
His wife, Princess Fahdah, daughter of Falah bin Sultan al-Hathlin al-Ajmi, and she bore : Prince Mohammed, Crown Prince, Prince Khalid, Prince Turki, Prince Rakan, Prince Bandar and Prince Nayef.
His wife, Princess Sarah, daughter of Faisal bin Daidan, Abu ‘Uthnayn al-Subaie, and she bore : Prince Saud.

Awards of King Salman
King Salman has received many honors and awards:
King Abdul Aziz’s first-class scarf.
And the title of intellectual competence of the Kingdom of Morocco, which he received in 1989.
And the golden medal of Bosnia and Herzegovina obtained from Sarajevo.
And the medal of the Jerusalem Star, which he received in 1998 from the late President Yasser Arafat.
And the biggest medal he received from Senegal in 1999.
He also received the United Nations Special Shield to reduce the effects of poverty in the world.
And the prize for the Association of Disabled Children, which he obtained from Riyadh.
And the award he was obtained from Germany.
He was awarded the Olympic Award for North Africa and the Middle East.
