In 1664 the city was under English control. The name of New York was named after Charles II granted the land to his brother Duke York. New York was the capital of the United States of America from 1785 to 1790.

The first explorer to arrive in New York City in 1524 was the European explorer Giovanni di Ferrazano, followed by explorers.

In 1625 he founded the first colony, a Dutch colony called New Amsterdam. Peter bought  Manhattan  from the Red Indians, and then New Amsterdam fell into British hands in 1664 and changed its name to New York City. It became the capital of the United States between 1785 and 1790.

New York City has a huge network of transportation, which has had a positive impact on the city’s business activity. About 3.5 million people use the network a day.

The city has 17,000 garment factories and is also one of the world’s largest cultural centers. The city has a rich cultural activity because of the affiliation of some famous poets and writers.
