Hajj Information ,Hajj is the fifth pillar of the pillars of the Islamic religion. Hajj is imposed on every Muslim who is financially, and psychologically capable. Hajj is obligatory for every Muslim once in his lifetime if the previous conditions are met. Hajj is not a duty for anyone who does not have enough money more than his need or who does not have physical ability.
The imposition of Hajj on Muslims was in the ninth year of Higrah. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performed Hajj during the tenth year of Higrah, and it was called the farewell Hajj because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) recommended the Muslims and he bid farewell to them, And Muslims felt that the Prophet peace be upon him will soon die.
Hajj is considered one of the best types of jihad. Whoever performs Hajj without committing any sin will be rewarded with Paradise. The Muslim must adhere to the principle of Hajj and do not commit any sin so that Allaah will forgive him all his sins and return as the day he was born.
Allah has imposed the Hajj on Muslims so that they can know each other and perform the Hajj together in great numbers, which motivates them to know the importance of unity among the Muslims.
The Hajj has many conditions to be accepted , that the man must be Muslim and wise and adult and has the financial and physical ability ,and for women, it is permissible for a woman to travel for Hajj without a mahram.
The Hajj begins on the eighth day of Dhu’l-Hijjah. The steps of Hajj begin with the Ihram on the eighth day of the month of Dhu’l-Hijjah, wearing the clothes of Ihram and not cutting the hair or beard for men, and not using perfume for women.Al Haj starts to say labayka alllahumma labayk, labayka la sharika laka labayk, ‘an alhamda walnniemat laka walmolk, la sharika laka labayk.
Then go to a place called Mina, where al Haj prays five prayers start with Alzuhr prayer. Pilgrims pray Al zuhr prayer two rak’ahs instead of four, and pray Alasr prayer two rak’ahs instead of four, and the same thing in Alishaa prayer ,this is called Kasr. But he prays every prayer in its time.
Then al Haj goes to a place called Mount Arafat after sunrise and before Alzuhr prayer, and that is on the ninth day of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah. Attendance to Mount Arafat is the most important pillar of Hajj, and whoever misses this pillar will have an incorrect Hajj. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The Hajj is’ Arafah. Al Haj prays at Arafat Alasr prayer with Alzuhr prayer at the time of Alzuhr prayer , and he prays two rak’ahs instead of four rak’ahs for each. Haj remains in Arafat until sunset, and al Haj spends his time praying and seeking forgiveness.
Then al Haj goes to a place called Muzdalifah and prays Maghrib prayer with Alishaa prayer at the time of the Alishaa prayer. Al Haj collects the Jamarat from Muzdalifah .
Then goes to Mina after midnight or after Fajr prayer. Al Haj performs the following steps: throwing the Jamra of Aqaba, which is seven consecutive stones, al Haj says in every one, Allaaho Akbar. The second step is to slay one of the imposed cattle, and eat from it and give from it to the poor. The third step is to shave the head hair for the man ,and cut off a small part of the woman’s hair. Al Haj can offer any step on the other without arrangement. After that, the Hajj is broken down from all the prohibitions of the Hajj, except for the intercourse of his wife. He can take off the garments of ihraam.
Then al Haj goes to Mecca to perform tawaaf al-ifaadah. After that, it is permissible for him to have intercourse with his wife. This was on the tenth day of Dhu al-Hijjah.
And after the tawaaf al-ifaadah he went to Mina to stay in it. Then on the eleventh day of Dhu’l-Hijjah, he threw the three Jamra, each of which is designed with seven stones. On the twelfth day of Thul-Hijjah, he throws the three Jamra in the same way ,but he must do this after Alzuhr prayer.
Then he returns to Mecca to perform the farewell tawaaf. Thus he has completed the rituals of Hajj.
